Hello and thanks for your interest and consideration to have me assist in improving your English language skills! I am an American who has been living and teaching in China for over 3 years. I am actively involved in improving English language skills for students in preschool, kindergarten, primary school, middle school, high school and at a university level. Furthermore, I provide business English classes for corporations and business-focused individuals. Lastly, I am actively preparing numerous students for various English language competitions, critical education entrance examinations and also prepare students for travel and transition to The United States (USA). |

I possess a Master's degree and TEFL certificate. I also possess 5 years of teaching preschool, kindergarten, primary school, middle school and high school level students. Furthermore, I am experienced in teaching adult beginners, intermediate and advanced level students. In addition, teaching business English and various management level-related courses. |
| Teaching method & materials |
After living and working in China for 3 years, I place a great emphasis on achieving measurable results! As we say in English, "talk is cheap", but when a teacher can deliver measurable outcomes towards the improvement of English language skills, then a valuable target has been met for both student and teacher. I include "free talk" in an encouraging and productive environment. I also use a variety of textbooks, such as Cambridge, TOEFL and IELTS that focus on grammar, listening, comprehension and phonics. However, I evaluate each individual student and develop a precise teaching plan that will meet his/her specific needs. Furthermore, I provide continuous evaluations to ensure progress. I may also infuse some American culture immersion sessions for those students interested in either traveling or planning to transition to The United States (USA). |
