I have experience in teaching Koreans and local Chinese students. My main areas of expertise are writing, , reading comprehension, oral English, pronunciation, and grammar, but can teach other areas as well. I've worked for Lee Yang Crazy English for some years. I teach adults and children. |
| Teaching method & materials |
I usually choose a course based on an analysis of the students' individual needs and preferences. This I supplement with online or personally created materials. I like to use:
-Interchange series (Cambridge)
-English Grammar in Use, English Vocabulary in Use (Cambridge)
-Writing Workshop (Sadlier Oxford)
-Look series (Longman)
I use the ESA class set-up of working to engage the student and offering him/her ample opportunity to apply what has been studied. I will usually test the student once a month and aid him/her in review to solidify what has been learned. |
